In support to this notion, we have shown: (i) L-cysteine, an activator of H 2 S producing enzymes (CSE and CBS), or the exogenous H 2 S donors NaHS and GYY4137 inhibited OA-induced GLP-1 and PYY release, and (ii) inhibition of release is due to suppression of the Epac/PLC-/Ca 2+ pathway downstream of cAMP pathway
